A note from your resident alchemist

Dear Fellow Students,

These pages will contain both material(s) germane to the courses at hand as well as supplemental materials to help

understand the course content.  Science can be fun and exciting but also frustrating.  While I'd like to say that everyone

will quickly grasp everything presented, the truth is that it is unlikely to happen.  And that's ok!  The key characteristic

I've seen which separates successful students and students who struggle is drive.  If you want to do well in any class, you'll

do well and you'll do everything to ensure said success.  If you don't put the time into doing well, you'll most certainly be

at a disadvantage.  I am here to serve as your guide through what I consider to be a very interesting discipline; I am not,

however, able to be your crutch or mule carrying you through the finish line.  I will do anything I possible to help you reach

your goals but will need your help in doing this.  Please let me know what I can do to make your experience in the class

both enjoyable as well as fruitful.  I look forward to learning more about you and sharing a true passion of mine.
